A private charter out past the reef for mahi mahi, sailfish and, in season, marlin, with the captain and mate doing the rigging so first timers can fish within minutes of leaving the dock. Most operators will clean and bag the catch, and a handful of beach restaurants will cook it the same evening for a small fee. Half day trips stay closer to the reef edge, full day runs push further out for the bigger pelagics.
