A sunrise flow on the sand followed, on ceremony nights, by a temazcal: a low domed sweat lodge heated with volcanic stones and led by a local guide through a breathing and chanting ritual that runs close to an hour. It is intense and not for anyone with heart or breathing conditions, the studios ask directly before letting guests in. Booking two or three days ahead is worth it, the smaller studios cap numbers to keep the ceremony personal.
